Information views are not visible when connecting via TIBCO Spotfire Connector for SAP HANA

When creating a SAP HANA connection in TIBCO Spotfire installed client with the TIBCO Spotfire Connector for SAP HANA (see Getting Started with Connectors), some of the calculation views may not be visible in the 'Views in the connection' dialogue that appears after a successful connection. Of the three Data Categories in SAP HANA for calculation views, "Cube", "Dimension" and "Default", only calculation views with data category "Cube" are currently visible to any reporting tool. In order to see the other "Dimension" or "Default" views, the data category needs to be set to "Cube" or these views can be used as sources in other calculation views that already have the data category as "Cube".  Once that calculation view is set to "Cube" then it will be visible in the TIBCO Spotfire connector dialog.
