How to uninstall Spotfire Analyst and delete all associated files

It is sometimes necessary to fully remove Spotfire Analyst in order to perform a clean install.

1. From Control Panel > Programs and Features, select Spotfire Analyst, right-click and select Uninstall

2. Delete 'Spotfire' and 'TIBCO' folders from the following paths:

        C:\Program Files\

        C:\Program Files (x86)\

        C:\Users\<USER_NAME>\AppData\Local\

        C:\Users\<USER_NAME>\AppData\Roaming\

        C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\

    (Note, AppData is a hidden folder)

    If Spotfire Analyst was installed in a custom location, please be sure to remove that folder as well.

3. Delete any Spotfire Analyst desktop shortcuts and items from the Start menu.

4. Launch the Windows Registry Editor by going to Start menu > search "regedit" and select "Registry Editor"

    Delete 'SPOTFIRE' and 'TIBCO' keys (if present) in the following paths:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wow6432Node
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \Software\Wow6432Node

    Take CAUTION when editing the Registry. Removing a key in error can cause major problems and cannot be undone.
