Problem:
Error: "Spotfire.Dxp.Automation.ASAutomationWorker.ASAutomationWorker: Job file 'xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxx_job.xml' does not exist".
Solution:
An Automation Services job fails to execute on the Automation Services server with the following error in the Automation Services server log file.
Error in the "Spotfire.Dxp.Automation.log" (<AS_Install_Dir>\LogFiles):
-------------------------------------
2015-10-05 10:56:39,048 ERROR [5644,1] Spotfire.Dxp.Automation.ASAutomationWorker.ASAutomationWorker: Job file 'C:\Program Files\TIBCO\Automation Services\6.5.1\Temp\'xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxx_job.xml' does not exist
-------------------------------------
2015-10-05 10:56:39,048 ERROR [5644,1] Spotfire.Dxp.Automation.ASAutomationWorker.ASAutomationWorker: Job file 'C:\Program Files\TIBCO\Automation Services\6.5.1\Temp\'xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxx_job.xml' does not exist
-------------------------------------
Symptoms:
When trying to execute an Automation Services job on the Automation Services server, the following error is reported in the Spotfire.Dxp.Automation.log file (<AS_Install_Dir>\LogFiles):
--------------------------------------------
2015-10-05 10:56:39,048 ERROR [5644,1] Spotfire.Dxp.Automation.ASAutomationWorker.ASAutomationWorker: Job file 'C:\Program Files\TIBCO\Automation Services\6.5.1\Temp\'xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxx_job.xml' does not exist
--------------------------------------------
Cause:
When certain antivirus and malware scanning software packages perform an on-access scan, they modify the files or the attributes of the files that they scan. If such a scan occurs on the Automation Services installation folder, IIS detects the change and triggers restart of the web application. All running jobs are killed during the shutdown, and when clients ask for status of those submitted jobs later, the server reports them as failed or not loaded.
