Users may come across ERROR: "The task could not be completed. Unable to open analysis 'XXXX/XXXX.' " while opening analysis file in TIBCO Spotfire Web Player
Users may be unable to open analysis files in Web Player when these analysis files are not part of scheduled update and may come across error "The task could not be completed. Unable to open analysis 'XXXX/XXXX." while opening files.
Refer to the attached screenshot (Filename: File_Open_Error_In_WP.jpg) of the error while opening the analysis file in Web Player. You may come across below error in Web Player log file - Spotfire.Dxp.Worker.Host.Debug.XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXX:

Note: When Analysis files are in scheduled update and cached in Web Player, users can open them.
This error may occur if the user account (or the group in which user is member) opens analysis file in Web player doesn't have "Access" permission on Spotfire library folders where any of these below library items are located:
- The information links associated with this analysis file.
- Any elements used in building the associated information links (column elements, filter elements, join elements)
- The Spotfire data source(s) used in creating any of the elements used in building the information links
Provide required users or groups "Access" permission on all of the Spotfire library folders as mentioned above using Spotfire Library Administration.
Note: The folder that is most frequently overlooked, when granting these permissions, is the folder that contains the data source.
