How to set the FiscalYearOffset property for any Spotfire user group.

You can set the starting month for the calculation of a fiscal year. This property can be set for any Spotfire user group, including Spotfire's default "Everyone" group. Steps to set the fiscal year offset property:

1. Open the TIBCO Spotfire Analyst/Client and select Tools > Administration Manager.
2. Select the "Everyone" group or any other specific Spotfire user group inside the "Preferences Tab".
3. Expand "Application" (the 2nd tree from the top) and select "Fiscal Year". Click on the "Edit" button present at the bottom of the window.
4. A new window will pop up and you can enter the desired value (e.g. -1). Click the "OK" button to apply the setting and close the Spotfire Analyst. For reference, see the attached file (File name: Offset In Months.PNG).
5. To verify the configuration, open a new instance of the Spotfire Analyst and load data from any .txt/.csv/.excel file and then select Edit menu >> Document properties >> Properties tab. Here you will see the current offset value as shown in the attached image file (File name: Document Properties.PNG).
