Recommendations: Where to install TIBCO Spotfire Statistics Services

Customer may ask if there is a specific location where TSSS should be installed in their Spotfire environment for best performance. Ideally TSSS would be installed on its own computer so that it has access to all resources on that computer. If that is not an option the following are the next best possible options.

1). Spotfire Server. 
2). Web Player/Node Manager Server.
3). Backend database server. This machine needs to be as stable as possible so limit other programs.

If several TSSS jobs are run at the same time they will each use a new core, so keep that in mind when considering available resources. Check out the system requirements for these programs at
