How to set the order in which markers are rendered in a Scatter Plot?

There are cases when the order in which markers (plotting symbols) are drawn can make a difference in how the visualization appears. If multiple data points are at the same location on the plot, you may want to make sure that one is always on top of the others.

Resolution

You can change the order in which markers are drawn by changing their order using the "Marker By" field in the Scatter Plot visualization's Properties dialog. Select a column that has a specific sort order configured. Spotfire will place the Scatter Plot markers in that order.
