Description:

Constant redeploy until restart of Spotfire Server. Error - "The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open in the logs."

Symptomps:

Deployment is not successful and the following errors are returned in the logs.

Error - [*DeploymentUpdater*] server.deployment.DeploymentManagerOracle: Exception refreshing updated deployments

Cause:

The cause is due to an antivirus utility locking/deleting files under the \tomcat\temp folder.

Resolution:

Disable antivirus scanning on the folder.
