Description: Not able to login to data source using Integrated Windows Authentication when specifying DataAdapterCredentials in the TIBCO Spotfire Web Player service configuration.

Symptoms:

The following message is presented when trying to open an analysis using the DataAdapterCredentials configured.

The data connection authentication failed. Windows error message: Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer.

Cause:

When the data source requires integrated authentication, the service will be required to impersonate the user defined in the DataAdapterCredential. When the user is unable to logon to the system running the service, the service is unable to logon with the user to be able to impersonate this user.

Resolution:

Provide logon for this user on the system running the TIBCO Spotfire Web Player service.
