Description
Users may experience multi-factor authentication (MFA) prompts when logging into Signals Notebook after their organization's IP address changes. This occurs because the new IP address is not recognized as trusted by the Identity Provider (IdP).
Important: This configuration is not managed within Signals Notebook. If your organization uses SAML-based authentication for Signals Notebook, trusted IP addresses must be configured in your Identity Provider (IdP).
Solution
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is managed through your organisation's Identity Provider (IdP), such as Microsoft Entra, Okta etc. To resolve this issue, the new IP address will need to be added to your IdP's trusted list.
We recommend contacting your internal IT or IdP administration team to have them whitelist this new IP address.
