Problem:

Some Property controls do not work or display "Property control requires configuration" only on Web Clients, while they work fine in Spotfire Analyst.

Resolution:

One of the possible reasons could be due to lacking linked data:

Check if the Property Control is linked to a column/data table that is not loaded in the Spotfire Web Client. For example, if the DropDown Control Property was created using a local CSV file Column that is linked data, it will work when the linked data is made accessible to the web player or when the data table is embedded in the Spotfire Dashboard.
