The Spotfire Action Log sometimes contains a second row for a single event, that has an incomplete set of values

Details:

When certain changes occur in Spotfire, the Action Log records information for each event, such as a date-time, the active user account, and the name of the object such as the DXP. Each event gets recorded as a row of data in the log file and/or in the database table.

It is noticed that in some cases, the Close events will contain a second row whose set of values are incomplete, such as the name of the DXP document is missing

Solution:

Per TIBCO investigation, it looks like this anomaly is caused when the system monitoring overlaps with the Action log DB. When Spotfire closes the DXP, it is also triggering the monitoring event. Those events are also getting captured in the action log DB which is normal behaviour.
