Currently the application is designed in a such way that by default, the system takes up the first Reaction ID (RXN ID I) as the Limiting reagent and gets a black tick mark.
In cases where we want to restrict the limiting reagent to one specific reactant, we can manually select it and the limiting reagent tick mark converts to a blue tick mark. Whenever a new reagent/reactant is added the limiting reagent gets restricted to the one we selected and doesn’t change with respect to Reaction ID.

- By Default system takes up the reactant with Rxn ID (I) as Limiting reagent and has a black tick markon it.
- Whenever a new Reactant is added at the first position with Rxn ID (I) system automatically considers that as the first reactant and sets it as the limiting reagent.
- In case any reactant is added before (cyclopentane) it can be manually shifted to the next position (Rxn ID II) and keep cyclopentane as the limiting reagent.

- To overcome the system restriction, the user has an option to manually select any reactant as the limiting reagent and the reagent is marked with a blue tick mark.
- On doing so, whenever a new reagent/reactant is added in the reaction, the limiting reagent gets restricted to the one we selected and doesn’t change with respect to the Reaction ID.
- Here in the below example Aricept is selected as the limiting reagent and the system takes that as the limiting reagent and doesn’t depend on the first reaction id element phenol.
