Signals Notebook: How to add new units (ng and ug) to the options under the Concentration tab and the Amount tab in a new plate

The units of the Annotation Layers Amount and Concentration are set by default on the system and cannot be edited or updated. 
 
As a work around, we recommend you to use a custom annotation layer. To do so, click on the three dot menu besides the last tab on the plates, select Add Annotation Layer and on Annotation Class select Other, then select Text (string). This way you would be able to add the value and the unit in the same Annotation Layer.
