Signals Notebook: How are the values for density, mass and volume in the Reactants table calculated

As per current design, Density is expected to be entered by the user and is maintained as a constant. We have formulas applied only for Sample Mass and Volume fields. The Sample mass and Volume are updated based on the formula Sample mass= Volume * Density (constant entered by user)

The user entered values will be in blue.

• Density = 3 g/ml is entered by the user. Now if user enters a Volume = 1 mL, Sample Mass is automatically calculated as 3g.

• If user changes Sample Mass = 18g, Volume is automatically updated to 6 mL
