You can create an experiment template, with the required field 'Department' with a drop-down menu.
First you will need to create an Attribute for the departments you want to select in the drop-down menu, and then you will need to create an experiment custom template. To do this, you can follow the next steps:
For Attribute creation:
1.As a System Admin, go to Signals Configuration.
2.Select the "Attributes" smart folder.
3.Click on "Attribute" and select "List".
4.Type a name for your list, it can be "Departments".
5.Select "Inline List" and click "Create List".
6.Under "Manually Define Values" add the departments you want to select later in your experiment.
Your "Departments" attribute will now be available.
To create the Experiment Template:
1.In Signals Configuration, select the "System Objects" smart folder.
2.Select Experiment.
3.Click on Templates > Experiment Template.
Type a name for your new template and click on "Create Template".
4.Click "Fields" > "Add New Field".
5.Type a name for your Field, it can be "Departments".
6.Under Attribute, select "Departments".
7.Check the "Required" checkbox and from the drop-down menu select "On Experiment Creation".
8.Click Save.
Now, when you create a new experiment from this template, the "Department" field will be mandatory and you will be able to assign a department:
