Signals Notebook: Is there a way to set an attribute field as 'Read-Only' in an experiment

Yes, attribute list fields can be set as 'Read Only' at experiment template level, by following these steps:

  1. Log into Signals Notebook as an administrator
  2. Navigate to Configuration > System Objects > Experiment > Templates
  3. Open the template you wish to add a read-only field to e.g. DEFAULT_EXPERIMENT
  4. Click on 'Fields'
  5. Click the 'Edit field' button (pencil icon) next to the field
  6. In 'Edit Experiment Field' page select 'Read Only'
  7. Click 'Save'

This change will affect all the experiments created with that template after the change. Experiments created before the modification will not be affected, likewise, if the change is reverted, experiments created before the rollback will retain the 'Read Only' status for that field.
