Define user privileges on Custom System Objects from the Signals Configuration

For Administrators only.

Prior to this task:

✔ User role(s) must be created and defined.

✔ Custom System Object must be created.

1️⃣ Signals Configuration ➡ select [System Objects]
2️⃣ System Objects ➡ select custom system object
3️⃣ Custom System Object Settings pane ➡ select Privileges
4️⃣ Custom System Object Privileges section ➡ select/deselect privileges for user roles

Supporting Knowledge

• Privileges available for Custom System Objects:
  • View: Allows user to access objects in view mode only.
  • Add: Allows user to add objects.
  • Edit: Allows user to edit objects.
  • Move: Allows user to move objects.
  • Export: Allows user to export objects.
  • Share: Allows user to share objects with others of their choosing.
  • Read Dependent Share: Allows sharing objects with users who already have read access via security policy.
  • Trash: Allows user to trash objects.
  • Share Templates: Allows user to share object templates.
  • Add Reviewers and Keep Open: Allows users to send for review, but does not change the Active state of the System Object.
  • Sign and Add Reviewers: Allows user to sign objects with witnessing.
  • Sign and Keep Open: Allows user to sign and keep open objects.
  • Void: Allows user to void objects.
  • Sign and Close Without Witnessing: Allows user to sign and close objects without witnessing.
  • Close Without Signing: Allows user closing objects without signing.
  • Two Stage Review: Allows user to use the two stage review while reviewing objects.
  • Approve: Allows user to approve objects.

• For privileges related to workflows, the signing options should be enabled in the Workflows page in order to be visible for the end user.
