Signals Notebook: Cannot create experiment without template

The Signals Notebook application enforces the requirement of selecting a template when creating a new experiment. The system's design ensures that templates are a crucial part of the experiment creation process.

If a user does not actively choose a template from the provided dropdown field during the experiment creation, the system will step in and automatically select the default template to generate a blank experiment. This means that while actively selecting a template is encouraged, it is possible to create an experiment without this action, as the system will seamlessly handle the task by automatically using the default template, resulting in the creation of the experiment as intended.
