Density and CAS number values are returned from Chem ACX when available. The density is an aggregate value.
The number of decimals in the Samples Mass column depends on the number of decimals of data entered in the system. The user can utilize different units or scientific notation.
All calculations are updated in the table as changes are made.
The Amount Ratio column is used when a reaction is based on a weight or volume equivalence instead of a molar equivalence.
When the limiting reactant and the value of the Amount Ration are changed, a new sample mass is added from the multiplication of the Amount Ratio and the Sample Mass of the Limiting Reactant.
The Amount Ratio column also works with liquids.
When there is a change in densities and volumes, the volume, sample mass, and moles are changed as well.
The user can add more columns through the Planned Amounts feature.
The Record Planned Amounts option can be used to capture the data that has been input in the Reactants table, which can then be used as a reference point.
The Planned Columns are read-only and can be cleared by selecting the Clear Planned Amounts option.
