Signals Notebook: How does % Wt field in stoichiometry table of reactant in experiment gets autopopulated

 Stoichiometry mapping serves the purpose of mapping fields, allowing users to utilize available materials listed within the stoichiometry table.

Once the Stoichiometry fields are mapped with the materials field and activated, materials created within the system can be effortlessly integrated into experiments. This integration occurs by importing them as reactants/products, and the values entered in the materials table are automatically retrieved in the stoichiometric table of the experiment, thanks to the established mapping due to the established mapping.
 
To gain a clearer understanding, please follow the steps outlined below:
 

1. Navigate to Stoichiometry Mapping and map the field %Wt with % active. Enable the mapping by selecting the checkbox at the top and save the configuration.    

2.  Log in to the application as an end user and create a new compound in the system. Assign % active value to it. For instance, for compound CTx-6640-01, we have set the % active value to 22%.

3. Create a new experiment and incorporate this material compound into the reaction as a reactant. Upon doing so, you will observe that the %Wt value is automatically populated with the % active value which is 22%. This seamless integration is a result of our mapping configuration in the stoichiometry library, where % active has been mapped to %Wt.

 
You can check the same by configuring the %Wt value to represent Purity in Stoichiometry mapping and then following the aforementioned steps for confirmation.
 
This process ensures efficient utilization of materials and streamlines the workflow for users engaging in experimental work within the system.
