Changes to the TIBCO Data Virtualization Product Release Cycle and Long Term Support Model

Details:

We are making some changes to our TIBCO Data Virtualization product release cycle and Support model. Starting with version 8.5, we are moving to long term stable (LTS) and mainstream releases (MS). We are adopting the new practice based on customer feedback to primarily address these use cases:

1. Customers who would like to stay on a stable release for a much longer duration and not worry about frequent upgrades should consider an LTS release.
2. Customers who are willing to regularly add new features to their offering should consider MS releases.
3. MS releases can also be used to pretest the features in dev/staging environments because they will eventually roll into LTS versions.

Version 8.5 is our first LTS release. We are still going to abide by the support practice for all the currently supported versions as per the older policy.
