Field Locking allows users to define reasons for changing the value of a locked Worksheet field.
Users have access to a list of predefined values when unlocking a field for editing. These lists are set/configured by administrators in the application:
The list can be created/edited/deleted by following below set of steps (also please refer the screenshot below for reference)
- Log into the application as admin.
- Go to system settings> Other > Field Locking
- Type the desired value in the "Enter a reason" field and press Enter.
- Repeat step 1 to add additional values as needed.
- To delete a specific value, click on its corresponding delete icon.
- Utilize the drag and drop feature to reorder the appearance of entered values.
- Once finished, click on "Save Settings" to apply changes.
