The below features should be activated by the System Administrator in order to make use of Inventory Decrement Feature:
- Enable Inventory Columns feature while defining Materials libraries table.
- Enable Update Amount Privilege for the User role as shown in screen shot below:
As a user login to Signals Notebook
Add Materials Table to the experiment.
- Enter/Scan the container barcode in the Materials Table and press enter. The entered barcode will be replaced with the linked material batch/lot ID.
- The Container ID and Barcode fields will be automatically populated.
- In Inventory Decrement field, enter the container amount that needs to be used in the experiment. The entered value gets deducted from the containers original amount.
