When you login to your ChemDraw Tenent as an Administrator, you will have access to a link called ‘Configuration’. In the Administration section of Home, there is a link for Configuration and the Configuration Guide. The Configuration link is also available from the App Launcher in the upper right.
Clicking on the Configuration link allows you to log into the Configuration of your Signals system.
To set up users, navigate to the Users panel. From here you can see any available licenses and add new users to your system.
Select individual users from the User list to edit their properties or define roles, privileges, and licenses for them including adding additional people as system administrators.
Your used and total licenses are displayed within the Users panel:
Removing the checkmark from the Signals ChemDraw option will remove the license, so you can assign it to another user. Users listed will not consume a license from the counter unless they have the checkmark. Make sure to click the Save button after making the changes.
New User Access
When you add new users to the system, they will receive two emails: a welcome email that contains the URL to their tenant, and an email that allows them to set up their password. They should be able to access the URL and log directly into their Signals tenant using their email address as their username. If they miss the email to set up their password, they can also set up their password from the Signals login screen by following the “Forgot Password” link.
If you convert your tenant from the default Signals Authentication to using your own identity provider then the users will not receive a welcome email.
Removing Users
If users need to be removed for any reason, you can remove them from your system. In doing so you can optionally reassign their content to another user who is continuing to use the system.
To remove the user, click on the user name and then click the deactivate button at the end of the page:
