No, a requirement for creating containers is the existence of a material that is linked to this container. In case you remove the materials from your library but keep the containers, these containers will be orphaned, and it will not be possible to attach these containers to another material.
Note: Currently in the Ideas Portal there is an idea that proposes to implement in parallel to the bulk import of materials, the bulk import of containers, making it possible to link these new containers to the new materials. This Idea is currently classified as a Shipped and is available as a beta feature (bulk import of containers | Revvity Signals Software Ideas). If you want to try this beta feature, we invite you to contact Revvity Support and ask for the activation of this feature on your tenant.
