Spotfire for Signals: Unable to open Spotfire file (.dxp) from Signals Notebook with locally installed Spotfire Analyst client

Problem:

Opening a Spotfire .dxp from a Signals Notebook Experiment or Inventa Analysis using Spotfire for Signals results in:

Failed to open ‘File Name’.

Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.

System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path. 

Solution:

Ensure the Webclient (WebDAV) service is installed and running.
