Supporting Knowledge
- Uniqueness Rules are applied when registering a new material to ensure the entry is unique based on that field. Users will be prompted to decide if the duplicate material will be registered as a new asset or as a new batch of the matching asset.
- Uniqueness rules can be set on required fields at the Material level (excluding Sequence ID).
- Uniqueness rules for Compounds and Reagent libraries are usually based on the chemical structure.
- If Structures Properties is enabled, uniqueness rules for Compounds-, Reagent-, or Chemical Structures-based libraries allow combining properties for the uniqueness check using the operators "OR" and "AND."
- Administrators can disable Compound chemical structure for uniqueness checking.
