Edit a Record Definition field for a Material asset/batch/lot from the Signals Configuration

For Administrators only.

Prior to this task:

✔ Record Definition field for a Material asset/batch/lot must be created.

*Required.

1️⃣ Signals Configuration ➡ select [Materials]
2️⃣ Material Types pane ➡ select Material library ➡ select Record Definition
3️⃣ Record Definition section ➡ Fields ➡ select field
4️⃣ Edit Material Field section ➡ edit Field Name* Required Hidden
5️⃣ Edit Material Field section ➡ select [Update]
6️⃣ Record Definition section ➡ select [Save]

Supporting Knowledge

Items that can be edited in an existing field are:

• Field Name
• Required and Hidden settings
• List options for Type list fields
• Add measures to Variable measure type fields
