Configure calculated properties for a Protein Material Library from the Signals Configuration

For Administrators only.

Prior to this task:

✔ A new material type for Protein must be created.

*Required.

1️⃣ Signals Configuration ➡ select [Materials]
2️⃣ Material Types pane ➡ select Proteins Material Type
3️⃣ Protein Material Type section ➡ select Record Definition
4️⃣ Record Definition section ➡ select [Field]
5️⃣ Create New Field section ➡ select/type Field Name* Field Type* ➡ select Calculated Property Calculated Parameter* Required Hidden
6️⃣ Create New Field section ➡ select [Add New Field]
7️⃣ Record Definition section ➡ select [Save]

Supporting Knowledge

• During configuration, only one Calculated Parameter can be selected for each new field.
• Multiple new fields can be added to include more than one calculated property parameter.
• Properties will be calculated based on the sequence file that is uploaded when registering the protein.
