Signals Notebook: Add a sample(s) to a Plate in Signals

Prior to this task:

✔ Experiment must be created.

✔ Plate must be added to an experiment.

✔ Sample must be exist in Signals.

1️⃣ Signals Dashboard ➡ select  [Experiments]
2️⃣ Experiments ➡ select experiment
3️⃣ Experiment Contents pane ➡ select  [“plate name”]
4️⃣ Plate section ➡ select  ["plate name"] Material
5️⃣ Material tab ➡ Material List ➡ enter Name/ID ➡ select [Add to Material List]
6️⃣ Well map area ➡ select wells
7️⃣ Material tab ➡ Material List ➡ select  [Use suggestion]

Supporting Knowledge

The Name/ID of the sample must match exactly. To add multiple at once, hit return between entries.

Notes:

• Samples can be referenced in the Materials tab of the Plate.
• If Inventory is activated, even if users do not have Inventory App privilege enabled, users can still search and add containers into the Plate if at least one container is available. This also applies to advanced search.
