Signals Notebook: How to correctly open a CSV file with MS Excel

Signals Notebook offers the possibility to export data in CSV format. One of the favorite ways for different users to open this type of files is to configure MS Excel by default to open these documents, so it only requires a double click on the file to open it with Excel. However, this practice may not be the most appropriate and can sometimes lead to errors in the data display.  We recommend you follow the steps below to correctly view a CSV file with MS Excel. 

1. Open Excel.
2. Click New, then click on Blank workbook.
3. Click on the Data tab.
4. Click on "Get data"(1)>"From file"(2)>"From Text/CSV"(3)
   
5. Navigate to the CSV-formatted file saved on your system, select it, then click open.
6. A dialog window will open with a preview of the data, confirm that everything is correct and click on "Load".
