Below you will find a guide on how to configure the reactant table in Signals Notebook to display GHS hazards, providing users with important safety information for chemical reactions.
Note: Only system administrators can perform this configuration.
Steps to perform:
- Log in to Signals Notebook as an administrator.
- Navigate to the configuration menu.
- Select "Chemistry settings".
- Click on "Table configurations" and then "Reactant table".
- Click "Add column".
- Configure the new column:
- Set a descriptive name for the column (e.g., "GHS Hazards")
- Choose "Attribute list" as the Type
- Select "GHS Hazards" for the Attribute list
- Enable "Show Icon" and "Multiselect" options
- Click "Save" to apply the changes.
This configuration allows users to view GHS hazard information directly in the reactant table, enhancing safety awareness during experiment planning and execution. The same process can be applied to the product table if desired.
