Signals Notebook: Add a new Task property from the Signals Configuration

For Administrators only.

*Required.

1️⃣ Signals Configuration ➡ select  [System Objects]
2️⃣ System Objects ➡ select Tasks and Requests
3️⃣ Tasks and Requests Settings pane ➡ select Task ➡ select Properties
4️⃣ Task Properties section ➡ select [Add Property]
5️⃣ Create Task Property ➡ type/select Field Name* Field Type* Apply to all new tasks and task templates
6️⃣ Create Task Property ➡ select [Add New Property]

Supporting Knowledge

Available Field Types:

• Text: Allows users to enter free-form text.
• Date/Time: Allows users to select a date and a time.
• Date: Allows users to select a date.
• Number: Allows users to input a numerical value.
• Integer: Allows users to enter an integer.
• Number with Units: Allows users to enter a numerical value and select appropriate units from a dropdown list.

• External Hyperlink: Allows users to add an external link. This field type supports HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, FTPS, and SFTP.

• Internal Reference: Allows users to add a link to an entity within Signals Notebook.

• Autotext List: Allows users to select one option from a predefined list of values.

• Checkbox: Allows users to use a checkbox field.

• List: Allows users to select one option from a customizable list of options.
