On some occasions, after the Signals self-registration process, you may get the following error message.
What can be done to solve this error?
Solution
There are two possible causes for this error:
- Your email domain is not eligible due your institution's configuration: A system administrator at your institution should indicate which email domains are allowed to perform the self-registration process. In case you get the error “Access Denied”, it is possible that your email domain is not allowed in this pre-approved email domain list.
- Your user was disabled by an administrator: It is possible that a system administrator disabled your user, leading to the “Access denied” error.
In both cases, it is necessary that you contact an administrator of your institution to help you with a manual activation of your user.
