Signals: During my self-registration process I got the error "You do not have access to this application"

On some occasions, during the Signals self-registration process, you may get the error message "You do not have access to this application". This error looks similar to the following image.

What can be done to solve this error?

Solution

There is one possible cause for this error:

• Your institution's licenses are fully utilized: It is possible that your institution has used all its available licenses, so your user could not be created within Signals. 

For this case, it is necessary that you contact an administrator of your institution to help you with a manual activation of your user.
