When you deactivate a user account, their data remains stored in the system. You have two options:
Option 1: Simple Deactivation
- Deactivate without reassigning content
- Upon reactivation, the user regains complete access to all their original data
Option 2: Deactivation with Content Transfer
- Deactivate and reassign content to another user
- The designated recipient receives Full Control permissions to all content of the deactivated user.
- If reactivated later, the original user cannot access their former content unless specifically shared back with them.
Note: Users who have Full Control permissions through security policies will maintain their access regardless of these changes.
