Since the release of version 25.3 of Signals Notebook, you can now visualize 3' and 5' ends in your biological chains, enhancing your ability to represent nucleic acid structures accurately. Below you will find a step-by-step guide on how to visualize these tags at the ends of the biological chains.
- In a chemical drawing element, create your biological sequence. For this example, we will use the following sequence.
- Select the sequences using either the Lasso tool or the Marquee tool.
- Click on the button "Open panel"
- On the tab "Properties" of the panel, scroll to the bottom and check the checkbox "Show 3' and 5'"
- Now the structure will show the 3' and 5' labels at the ends of the biological chains.
