Signals Notebook includes a feature called Sibling Navigation, which enables users to quickly move between related items located within the same context — for example:
- Samples within the same experiment
- Tasks within the same request
- Some relational Experiments within the same notebook
This navigation is accessible via the dropdown menu in the breadcrumb trail, allowing users to move to the previous or next item, select an item from the list, or search within that specific location. This information is also documented in the User Guide and can be found in the relevant section. (Please refer to the example screenshot below for reference.)
However, it's important to note that this dropdown only reflects sibling relationships, meaning it will show items that exist within the same structural grouping (e.g., parallel experiments within a common parent). It does not list all experiments within a notebook.
For example, if a parallel experiment does not have any related or sibling experiments, the dropdown will display the message: "No sibling parallel experiment found"
(please refer to the screenshot below for reference).
