Diastereomers are being recognized as duplicates when manually trying to register a new compound. How do I change this?
This is the expected behavior of the application. Signals Notebook will identify diastereomers as duplicates by default when no annotations are present.
Workaround:
1. Select ‘Treat as Unique’ option from the ‘Resolve Duplicates’ page. This will register the compound as a new compound without the need for annotations.
2. Use ‘Guided Stereo’ when drawing the structure to manually specify the stereochemistry for each compound, this will add enhanced stereo annotations to the structure and allow the application to differentiate them.
