Signals search feature allows you to select the search source to specify where you want to run your search.
To select the search source:
- Navigate to the advanced search page.
- Select the search source from the dropdown list available in the search page as shown on the bottom of this article:
- Select Signals if you want to run your search over all signals resources except the templates.
- Select Signals Templates if you want to run your search over Signals Templates (Text and Experiment Templates) only.
- Select Chemicals if you want to run your search for the chemicals.
- Select Materials if you want to run your search over the materials libraries.
- Select Inventory if you want to run your search over the Inventory libraries.
- Select ELN Archive if you want to run your search over your E-Notebook archived data.
- Select Material Orders if you want to run your search over the materials orders.
- Select Internal Requests if you want to run your search for Internal Requests.
Select Monomers if you want to run your search for HELM Monomer libraries and their properties.
While searching for materials, any input of structures exceeding 7000 atoms will not return search results. Depending on complexity and size, some structures below this limit may also fail to return results.
If you are searching inside of Materials, you should use the Material ID to search but when you are searching inside of Inventory you need to use the Name to search for the Materials or Samples.
