Signals Notebook: HELM Structures not rendering as sequences in the chemical drawing

HELM structures copied from ChemDraw Desktop into the CDJS Chemical Drawing element render as sequences instead of the expected HELM representation even when the monomer is correctly registered in the HELM library and works on newly added chemical drawing elements.

This can happen if there is a problem with the chemical drawing element of the experiment template.

Solution: Replace the chemical drawing in the experiment template:
1.Log in as an administrator 
2. Navigate to Signals Configuration > System Objects > Experiment > Templates
3. Open the affected experiment template
4. Remove the existing Chemical Drawing element
5. Use 'Add Content' > 'Chemical Drawing' to create a new element
