How to make a field required in Registration 12

1.Log into Registration with an user with administrator privileges
2.Go to 'Customize Registration'
3.Click 'Manage Data Properties'
4.Select the desired form tab e.g. 'Component'
5.Select the property from the 'Property List' section e.g.CMP_COMMENTS
6.Click 'Validation Rules'
7.In the 'New Validation Rule' section select:
Type: requiredField
Error: This is a required field
Default Value:
8.Click 'Add Rule'
9.Click 'Save'
