Error 2878 appears while install CBOE 10

Problem:


While installing CBOE 10, an error appears right before you get to the screen where you can create or choose an admin account.

Error message: Error 2878. On the dialog CreateUser the control AdminUserCombo has a possible value: Domain Admins. This is an invalid or duplicate value.

Reason:


There is a domain user name conflicting with a local user name in Administrators group.
When installing the application, the domain user doesn't have its domain name appended so that it gets identical to the local user's name.


Solution:

There are two ways to fix this problem,

1. Remove the local user from Administrators group temporarily.
2. Remove the server from the domain, join workgroup then run the installer.
