Problem:

After installing ChemOffice Webserver 2000, I get an error message similar to the following when clicking on any of the links on the chemoffice.asp page:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error "800a004c"
Path not found
/sample/global.asa, line 720

Solution:

First, open the cows.ini file in WinNT directory and edit the server_drive entry so it matches where the software was installed.

If it already does match, open the cfserver.ini file for the application you are trying to access (in this example you would go to \Inetpub\wwwroot\chemoffice\sample\config\)and make sure the TEMP_DIR_PATH is using the correct drive letter.
