How can I restart IIS without rebooting?
Solution:
Sometimes it is necessary to restart IIS. 90+% of the time, instead of a reboot, a user can do the following:
1) Open a Windows NT command prompt.
2) Type "net stop iisadmin"
IIs, and all of its objects will exit. This is the only reliable way to
stop IIs.
