Product: ChemDraw
ChemDraw 19 does not ask me to save changes when I close the document but changes are not saved either.
If you have saved your document before, make changes to it and leave the computer inactive for 5 minutes and then close the document, the software will not ask you if you wish to save the changes.
In order to correct this problem you need to make sure the Enable Autosave option is checked on the ChemDraw Preferences window:
1. Open ChemDraw by right-clicking on it and selecting “Run as Administrator” (This is to ensure the changes are saved to the Windows registry)
2. Click File > Preferences.
3. Select Open/Save
4. Make sure the Enable Autosave option is checked.
5. Click OK and try again
If the issue continues, click the Use Defaults button from the Preferences Window and then proceed to make the changes again.
