Problem:

Is there a way to stop a section type from being exported to word as part of the experiment?


Solution:

To prevent a section form being rendered during export there are two options:

  1. Utilize the 'Export Range' options in the 'Export to Word' window to prevent rendering for the specific export
  2. Remove the Section Type from the 'Export to Word' form tool in the experiment to prevent rendering in all experiment types:
    1. Browse to the experiment's collection type and open 'Collection Type Configuration'
    2. Browse to the 'Form Tools' > 'Export to MS Word' and click 'Custom Properties'
    3. In the 'Properties' window click on 'Set Rendered Section Types'
    4. Uncheck the box for the section type that should not be exported and click 'OK'
