Problem:

"Invalid File Format" Error for Word and Excel with MS Office 365


Solution:

This error message can appear when installing the ELN 12.1.10 Client in a computer that has not previously have any other version of MS Office install. ELN 12.1.10 works with Office 365 only if the computer has any of the following MS Office versions installed before: 2007/2010/2013. Some extra registry keys are needed for the application to work if those MS Office versions where not previously in the computer.
