How to include non-supported extension files to an experiment


Solution:

The 'Attachment' section type can be used to include non-supported extensions in experiments. The application will not be able to interpret them but the files will be available as part of the experiment and available for future download/export. To add the 'Attachment' section type to an experiment type follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the location of the experiment in the configuration folder
  2. Right click on the experiment and select 'Collection Type Configuration'
  3. Expand 'Form Tools', select 'New Section', click on 'Custom Properties'
  4. Select 'Attachment' and click 'Add' click 'OK'
  5. Exit the 'Collection Type Configuration'
  6. Refresh All
